Angola Telecommunication
Six Hybrid off-grid power solutions for Tetra Radio Systems, these sites are installed in and around Luanda, the capital of Angola.
Each one of the sites or power solutions are equipped with 64, 255W solar panels mounted on a purpose built ground mount structure, designed for high wind loads. The power that is generated by the PV Modules is managed by a Delta Orion Controller, two 13kVA Outdoor Diesel Generators, 72 500A/h 2V DC VRLA Gel Batteries, a Delta DPS 2900-48B, eight Delta PVC 2200-48B and a Gaia 2kVA UPS which was all integrated into a purpose designed container.
The generators have been incorporated to power assist when solar yield is not adequate. The unique design of the power solutions is that it can be remotely controlled from anywhere in the world which means that all warning alarms such as load, fuel level, battery capacity, temperature etc. can be closely monitored.
